For this class, we went through the history of South Africa and discussed the major key points and figures that defined the historical culture of South Africa. My major project for this class was a tiki-toki timeline, this is a timeline pinpointing the major history of south Africa including specific items like freedom passbooks.

For this class, we examined and discussed sex trafficking and how sex traffickers find and locate their victims, the psychology of both the pimps and the victims, and why victims find it hard to leave and will continue to stay with their abuser. for my final project, we were to create a hypothetical program to help sex trafficking survivors. our group choose to have a storefront in which victims make crafts while also attending advancement classes to help them get professional jobs

This course examined and discussed the role of health in terms of psychological effects including physiological, biological, and social how a lack of proper diet and exercise can positively or negatively affect them. we also delved into what it means to die and social differences relating to death. one of my favorite modules from this class is talking about class and race affects if you get healthcare and the level of healthcare you get. for my final essay, we were made to watch the documentary 'take your pills' which talked about the effects of taking ADHD drugs on the youth.
